Re:Lamb of God - Wrath
Feb 28 2009 13:43:38 A lot of catchy parts on the album, and in general, it sounds fun. There are other parts where I felt a more adventurous band would have gone beyond the call of duty and totally sealed the deal, but these guys were content to play it safe. Overall, pretty decent for a listen now and then.
That looks like a pretty low-budget video for what I assumed was a big band. Strange. |

Re:Lamb of God - Wrath
Mar 22 2009 10:07:25 I liked this album enough to plump for the Limited Edition blah blah with a couple of bonus tracks. The first, We Die Alone, is quite fabulous and worth the extra $s because the lyrics actually make sense and are not some inchoate ranting about "motherfucking hypocrites" and "liars" who seem to be this band's major literary conceits. And the duelling solos towards the end that stray into prime-era Tesla territory were a pleasant surprise. The next track Shoulder of God is a welcome addition but not exceptional. I'd have actually rated this 1 thadiyan higher.
