@ GK - I seriously doubt you'd like anything post-Keepers given your antipathy to the cheery happier side of power metal. You could try Dark Ride though. And their covers album was excellent. The kind of mayhem they get up to on relatively sedate songs like Locomotive Breath has to be heard to be believed. It's called Metal Jukebox. And (haha!) they cover Abba. |
