there are two comics that i read with alarming regularity, the first being Jorge Cham's Piled Higher and Deeper (PHD) comics.

the second is warren ellis' free webcomic, freakangels, which brightens up my perennially fucked up fridays.

Freakangels helped keep me alive in my last disastrous stab at a dayjob.

I read PHD comics. Not everyday but as and when I remember and feel like it.

Yeah, I have some 20 of them fed into my Google Reader. I used to read regularly, but I hardly get the time now. Went low in priority, but I do quickly go through those and all my other feeds once a week or so.

Way cool concept and pretty well executed overall. Only niggles are that the text was a bit of a strain to read at times, and those busy panels are overkill. Maybe it's a pothead thing.

i actually didn't pay too much attention to the "busy panels" so it didn't bother me as much. somehow, it reminded me of black hole.

^^I got the exact same Black Hole vibe. Black Hole was pretty cool. Speaking of which, I heard that there was a movie happening sometime soon. That should be interesting.

You guys need to check out Sam & Fuzzy. It becomes REALLY good once you get past the first few hundred strips. Picture that if Marten and Pintsize from QC never met Dora and Faye and instead went battling an evil ninja mafia syndicate. It can really resolve a story well too.

Dr. McNinja is the most badass webcomics character ever. The guys punched a velociraptor, a giant lumberjack AND Dracula. First two issues (The McDonalds and Lumberjack arcs) weren't that good though.

I think a proper new story is finally beginning again on dresdencodak. Check it out!
