This thread discusses the Content article: Peeping Tom (dir. Michael Powell)

Having seen this film I endorse it unstintingly. I also like the fact that the precise nature of Mark's childhood traumas are only hinted at and there's no embarrassing chunk of exposition like there was at the end of Psycho. The end of Psycho was redeemed by a masterful last scene, though.

I've been wanting to see the other (read latter) films of Powell and never thought about this one a bit prior to this review.

While we're at Psycho, I thought the remake was really effective in its own terms. It features Vince Vaughan as the antagonic Bates in what I consider as his only worthy role.

What The Fuck!! You didn't like Dodgeball?

Peeping Tom was very cool. That lead actor I thought was brilliant and was almost sympathetic in his portrayal of a crazy killer.

Very cool review.

Haven't seen that. I've seen only 'Swingers' which was average and like any other Adam Sandler flick.

Erm...why the formalities? I'd also seen him in a couple of supporting roles too which were strictly blink and miss. IMHO.

I was joking about Dodgeball da. It's as fuck all as The Break Up, Swingers or 90% of his other movies except that it also has Ben Stiller. Didn't really expect to get into a discussion about his movies.
