Gaming guys here, aware of the
EA week on Steam? Each day, a new set of EA games on sometimes very significant discount, depending on local prices (Monday was Crysis day, Tue was Battlefield, Wed was C&C, Thu was Racing day). I got
Burnout Paradise for $7.49, it's on download now. This open world shit is not really my cup but Burnout 3 is not available for PC, my copy of NFS2SE does not install on my current PC sadly and I refuse to buy a game with the NFS moniker after what EA has done to the NFS series with all the trash-talking hip-hop dhik-chak [*-(]
Edit: One quick caveat here. Some of the games require that you adhere to EA's copy protection schemes, whatever they may be (like C&C4 which CANNOT be played in offline mode). I personally find this a shitty idea. Steam is in itself a terrific platform (it has worked well enough for Valve to not whine about piracy and in fact use it to develop features like Steamworks which ADD convenience to the customer through the online access) and it's an act of, pardon my French, complete assholery to require other copy protection measures.
