He's pretty much my favourite film critic and I love reading his reviews even if I don't agree with all of them. Also his "i hated, hated, hated this movie" turned out to be a treasure trove of cheese and general fucked up-ness.

Yeah, his standards are very wildly varying. But he is funny most of the time, so that's something. My favourite critic is a toss up between Filthy Critic and Richard Schieb.

Read the article yesterday, some really amazing stuff there. And although the whole 'give joy to others' thing seems to be a bit of a cliche for cancer survivors, his determination really makes it as genuine as it can possibly be. Props to him.
