I never went through the whole Doomsday saga myself, though I did read a retrospective issue that went at it from a sort of guilt trip angle for Superman. Anyway, I'll watch this soon.

Caught this over the weekend. I was put on my guard when I saw "Anne Heche" turn up on the credits and the first half hour turned out to be quite painful because of this (this could possibly just be my hatred for her annoying crone voice though). Thankfully I stopped noticing her after that and the film managed to make up for it overall. I was actually quite surprised at the level of violence. people getting their heads crushed doesn't normally make it to the final cut in standard animation features. Good stuff.
