Misery Index - Heirs to Thievery Something's missing on this album. It has all of the ingredients that made Traitors such a monster but somehow it doesn't work here. The bands death/thrash/grind approach is good but not as spectacular as they used to be.
Limbonic Art - Phantasmagoria This is awesome. Melodic and epic sounding black metal with loads of catchy riffs and the whole wall of sound effect. Really tripping on this one.
Chrome - Half Machine Lip Moves/ Alien Soundtracks Weird spaced out rock music that mixes the stooges with kraut rock and comes up with a sound all of its own and catchy but a little unsettling at the same time. One of those albums that I simply cannot listen to when sober but totally love when I'm high.

^^That Limbonic Art album sounds good!
Celeste - Morte(s) Nee(s) Interesting mix of hardcore and black metal. Not as caustic as Anaal Nathrakh but this is pretty intense in its own right with a greater affinity for hardcore. Do get this if you like the latter sound of Anaal Nathrakh.
Enslaved - Below The Lights Great album packed with interesting riffs but I prefer Isa to this purely because of the better sound on the latter.
Spk - Zamia Lehmanni: Songs Of Byzantine Flowers Absolutely stunning album. One of the best dark ambient albums out there. Released in '86 for God's sake!
Jarboe - Mahakali Man this is a great album. I'm enjoying this a lot more than when I heard it when it first came out. Tedious to get through but highly enjoyable. This album is the aural equivalent of a Zdzislaw Beksinski painting.
Brant Bjork - Gods & Godesses Business as usual for Mr. Bjork - laid back, smooth, "summer" stoner songs with absolutely thoughtless lyrics and the same old pentatonic variations. I like.
John Mayer - Coninuum Shoot me, but I thought a couple of songs were pretty alright actually. Hmmm...

My Brother the Wind - Twilight in the Crystal Cabinet
Eibon - Entering Darkness
Put both these albums in the best of the year so far. Absolutely monstrous and crushing in completely different ways.

Kalmah - 12 Gauge This one's been getting a lot of good press lately with people talking about a melodic death metal album with balls. It's only a slightly heavier version of Children of Bodom with more thrash riffs and without the pop hooks. Gets boring very quickly.
The Howling Wind - Into the Cryosphere Finally heard this band and not sure if it's blackened sludge or sludgy black metal but either way, quite a kickass album and more listens need to happen.
Amebix - Redux Amebix reformed sometime last year I think with Roy Mayorga on drums and this ep is basically a reworking of 3 of their older songs. Tasty appetizer but not much else.
No Joy - No Joy Very laid back fuzz drenched stoner rock from this duo.

INCANTATION- ONWARD TO GOLGOTHA CD
Fuck yeah! Was listening to Decimate Christendom a couple of days back. What a band! I don't think they've put out a bad album to date.
Dream Evil - In the Night
Liking this more and more with each listen. Very catchy, fist pumping, cheesy heavy metal. Woohoo!
Sanctus Infernum - S/T
Doom project of erstwhile Manilla Road guitarist Mark Anderson. Awesome doom with some BM/DM references.

your right about Incantation, but i am not too keen on their last few albums, i liked their stuff best till The Infernal Storm album after that i felt they were pretty much repeating themselves.
also that Sanctus Infernum is one little gem of an album!fantastic stuff there as well the great sound they have!
