doomshine - piper at the gates of doom solid old school doom in the candlemass tradition with some terrific lead guitar and a strong traditional heavy metal feel. Not anything exceptional but pretty good for what it is.
jeffrey luck lucas - The Lion's Jaw Morose singer songwriter stuff and sounds like Antimatter with a cello at times but the songs fail to really hold my attention and I'm usually asleep halfway through.

Warbeast - krush the enemy made up of guys from gammacide and rigor mortis and championed by anselmo, I've been listening to this for a while now and pretty much waiting for it to grow old like most retro thrash outings but this one's just grown on me. The songs are heavy as fuck, catchy and memorable. Nothing new or jaw dropping about krush the enemy but its thrash metal just done really well. A solid album from start to finish.
Legen Beltza - Need to Suffer New album from Spanish death thrash band and its pretty much business as usual. They very calmly sidestep all cliches and any attempts to modernise their sound and instead just focus on dirty groovy death thrash with kickass riffing. The vocals get a bit iffy at times especially when trying to sing clean but overall a solid album and sort of like Annihilator jamming with Kreator. Some of the riffing on this one is just exhilarating and both this one and Krush the Enemy are awesome when you're stuck in a traffic jam and crawling along after work.
Limbonic Art - Phantasmagoria This is black metal like how I remember it back in the days of cradle and dimmu but it comes with a very sinister, creepy atmosphere and terrific songs. Only got through half of whats a 70 minute album but sounds damn good.

@GxMx: That Ellipses CD is all remixes right? How is it?
Overoth - Kingdom of Shadows Decent 'old school DM' from this band from Northern Ireland. Sounds like Benediction actually.
Fifty Foot Woman - ST Some more great stoner rock from Poland (apart from Broken Betty) happening here. These guys sound like The Atomic Bitchwax jamming with older Clutch with some samples from old movies thrown in.

Legen Beltza - Need to Suffer Really liking this album. The band occasionally throws in a riff that reminds me of classic Metallica but overall this is some top class thrash metal.

Hawkwind - Blood of the Earth Very fun album by these hoary space rockers. Sure some of the songs sound a little more cheery than I would've liked and song 2 is some sleep inducing ambient noise bullshit but very kickass album overall. Will decide if I want this on disc after giving it a few more spins.
