"Guzzlers Inn",its not a happening place or whatever but that suits me just fine! the scene is i know the management,the staff is peaceful and friendly,the food is great and the draught beer is really,really good! to top it the dj is really happy to play the discs i take and i get a nice discount on the tab cos of the amount i end up drinking!:D couldnt ask for more can i? to top it non of the "metal" crowd comes there making it even better! ;)

Good shit. I went there for the first time after II PUC a couple of weekends ago and really liked it. Very peaceful, you can smoke inside and they played Look at Yourself in full which was pretty fucking awesome.

The Grotesquery's Tales from the Coffin Born is one more Rogga Johannson/ Kam Lee death metal project and more groovy dm that sounds pretty good, that Rumpshakers - Urban Decay album is great heavy blues but gets a little bleak sometimes. Still mostly listening to the new Woburn House which reminds me more and more of The Ocean without all the meshuggah/gojiira riffing. Very good album.

Heard Utopia by Axxis. Another album that could have been good spoiled by awful keyboard saturatedness. I absolutely hate it when keyboards play alongside the main guitar riff. Nothing castrates a riff quicker than having a shitty keshyo sound overlayed on it. Deleted the album from my mp3 player and my HD as soon as I got home. Also heard Axe To Fall by Convverge which was very interesting. More listens shall happen.

Nazxul, veteran Aussie black metallers' new album Iconoclast is shaping out to be really fucking good. Some awesome symphonic black metal happening (with very little cheese save for some annoying 'atmospheric interludes'). They reminded me of a black metal Hollenthon.
