That Kowloon Walled City thing was a super bore. I know you are supposed to consider these guys very sporting cause they gave their album away free, but I would rather pay for something good than get something this mediocre free.

Haha! I remember reading about your dislike for the KWC album before. They have a couple of AWESOME songs like Bone Loss and Diabetic Feet in there but for the most part the album is very dull fare.

The Scythian album also bored the piss out of me. If you can't do your Venom/Bathory derived metal right, you deserve to be shot.

I think KWC are pretty cool. So are Adrenicide, this new release full of fun crossover material. Also played the latest Anaal Nathrakh last night.

Listened to the Serpent Throne album again last night. Lovin' it. It's like they took everything that was good about the music of the '70s and crammed it into one massive jam-a-thon. Awesome album.

Both these albums are very interesting. Damn good stuff and pretty much played these two and the Nazxul album all of last night. Three really good reccos. Thanks man.

Blackstratblues - The New Album: Warren Mendonsa doing his thing, but this time, it features other musicians as collaborators. Worth checking out. He's probably one of the few Indian guitarists who have a signature style - in tone, as well as playing.
Baroness - Blue Record: Heard it while sifting through the news. Will need another listen.
Slayer - Hell Awaits + South of Heaven: SSLLLAAYYYEEER!
Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life & Death
CAB - Theatre De Marionnettes: A supergroup definitely worth checking out. Never bores.
