Well, I'm listening to their previous album, The Last Of My Kind, right now. Fairly standard power metal/heavy metal, maybe closer to the more ballsy stuff like earlier Blind Guardian or Helloween or maybe Jag Panzer than the wimpoid dragonoid void of power metal in general, but so far not enough grit for my tastes, so maybe The Stars... is a big leap forward?

Maybe a bit heavier but not by much, just better songs on this one.

Hmmm...The Last Of My Kind does have some real highlights. It's just that the vocals, far from being unique, fall into standard power metal patterns too often. Will try the new one. I don't really listen to this variety of metal a lot, but I'm always interested in trad metal done well.

Well, The Stars Of Never seen is certainly stronger than the previous album. I wouldn't rate this as highly as you, but it's got a decent balls-to-cheese ratio for the chosen style.
