I liked it a lot actually. I'd place it right up there with Ultima Thulee as BAN's best. The only thing that could beat this (and get a full 5 in my books) is Vindsval's other project, The Eye.

This was my first Blut Aus Nord (Popeye villain Bluto's more kickass Nordic cousin from Australia I suppose?) album and I liked it quite a bit; enough that I am working my way through their back catalogue now.

But seriously, quite a bit of good stuff on the album. My deep-rooted aversion to the black metal sound keeps me from enjoying it fully, but maybe a few more spins and I'll be able to suppress it.
